Almost 40 years after his death following a bar brawl in Key Biscayne, Ricardo Morales, known as “Monkey” — contract CIA worker, anti-Castro militant, counter-intelligence chief for Venezuela, FBI informant and drug dealer — returned to the spotlight Thursday morning when one of his sons made a startling claim on Spanish-language radio:
Morales, a sniper instructor in the early 1960s in secret camps where Cuban exiles and others trained to invade Cuba, realized in the hours after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas in 1963 that the accused killer, Lee Harvey Oswald, had been one of his sniper trainees.

Morales Jr. gave a similar account to the Miami Herald in an interview Thursday, adding that his father said he didn’t believe Oswald killed Kennedy “because he has witnessed him shooting at a training camp and he said there is no way that guy could shoot that well.”

Oswald’s unit in the Marine Corp. From his personal experience with Oswald he was absolutely certain Oswald was the killer.
There has to be a reason those files stay hidden......but who knows why.
Oswald couldn’t hit the side of a barn—he was, as he said, the designated patsy.

The issue with opening the JFK files is that it has only been 58 years since the incident. Those directly involved in the murder alive could kill informants who are still alive. I can see a chips fall scenario if other nations or organizations were outed and embarrassed and could be negatively affected today. the children of the conspirators could be associated with their parents as they gained from their parents actions.
Since I support Ted Cruz and I already walked away from FR once because of idiot conspiracies, I’ll refrain from responding the way I’d like. Fomenting rifts among Conservatives is the goal of the left and some keep falling for it.

I don’t think LBJ would have batted an eye at murder. The cold blooded sucker insisted Jackie stand beside him while he took the Oath of Office.
