Earth's atmosphere is rising because of climate change, a new study shows.

Weather balloon measurements, taken in the Northern Hemisphere over the past 40 years, reveal that the lowest layer of Earth's atmosphere — called the troposphere — has been expanding upward at a rate of roughly 164 feet (50 meters) per decade, and climate change is the cause, according to findings published Nov.r 5 in the journal Science Advances. ...

so what does it mean to us? CO2 expands the atmosphere, but contracts the stratosphere more than ozone. There were periods of earths history when CO2 was much higher than now. So what does this increase in troposphere mean to us? besides another scary story? Here's the mentioned study

Wow. Literally every worrisome natural event is caused by man-made Climate Change.

On a related note, my cat ‘Let’sGoBrandon’ threw up a hair ball yesterday. I’ll bet that was due to man-made Climate Change. I’m gonna apply for a federal grant to study this problem in more detail.

And of course, if the volume of the atmosphere goes up, the concentration of that terrible pollutant, CO2, goes down!
