You might mean the Roanoke colony that disappeared between 1588 and 1590.
The Jamestown colony was established in 1607 and except for a brief abandonment in 1610 has been constantly inhabited. Jamestown was the first permanent English settlement in the new world.

There doesn’t seem to be any point to it besides that. If they find anything, they’ll spend time sifting through dirt and analyzing bone fragments and we’ll get reports about that. Will they find out how he died or who did it? Will anyone be arrested? Not likely, since this happened almost almost fifty years ago and all of the possible Mafia suspects are long dead. If they close this case, maybe the FBI can start looking for Amelia Earhart ,Glenn Miller, Judge Crater. Congressmen Hale Boggs and Nick Begich and their plane’s wreckage have never been found in Alaska. The Bermuda Triangle would provide them endless possibilities.

I’m still very interested in that. Where is the security guard?? Any followup? Where are the cameras? Where are the reports and scientific evidence? It’s all so NOT believable. Where are the families?
Was everyone threatened and silently paid off including the musicians? Where’s the thorough FBI investigation?
