If you owe the bank $1,000 you are in trouble. If you owe the bank $1M the bank is in trouble.

The PPP program was run through banks. This was because banks have the long-term loan and deposit relationships with their customers.

If this scammer got $4.2 million in loans, it means a corrupt bank, or bank loan officer, was involved as well.

When I see what crooks buy, it does make it easier to deduce the physical characteristics of said crook. The closer here was the Louis Vitton bag.

I still don’t know what to think about a scammer scamming a scam.

And just think about how much money was ripped off by scammers who were discrete about it.

Silly man!

Doesn’t he realize that only well connected politicians are allowed to scam the system? Swiss and Seychelles bank accounts only!

Hopefully he’ll know better for the next time.

Certainly a possibility.

I went to high school (about a millennia ago now) with an obviously Hispanic boy who had a very Slavic/Russian family name. It was my first introduction to the fact that other Europeans (besides the Spanish) had migrated in significant numbers to Central and South America.

Now wait a minute - buying a Rolex and a Lambo is contributing to the economy, isn’t it?

Right you are about Barosy:

The race and Hispanic origin distribution of the people with the name BAROSY is 49.2% White, 32.2% Hispanic origin, 13.3% Black, 4.0% Asian or Pacific Islander, 1.2% Two or More Races, and 0.2% American Indian or Alaskan Native.

But what about the Valesky part?
