Last time I checked, Mayo is private and not government.
In a capitalist system private entities can set their own rules. They are subject to suits, gov’t is not.
They accept government cheese. AKA Medicare Medicaid in other government funded insurance policies. However I do believe the mail is going overboard with this regardless of whether they actually have to or not
