The left is furious about “white privilege.” And while it’s true white people have benefited from major advantages over time, it’s a concept that is rapidly fading — especially now, as the reverse is coming true. Minorities are increasingly becoming privileged while growing numbers of white people face discrimination.
Diversity initiatives have been around for years, but over the past year and a half, innumerable companies and corporations have ramped up their efforts with the goal of “diversifying” their workforce. Tech giant Facebook, for example, has committed to half of its employees coming from “underrepresented communities” (i.e., black, Native American, and Hispanic) by 2023. Best Buy is hiring one person of color for every three new hires over the next five years. United Airlines has promised that at least half of the pilots they will train in the next decade will be women and “people of color” (currently, only 13 percent of pilots are people of color

Notice when it’s against whites it’s discrimination, but when it isn’t it’s ‘racism’, a made-up word from a few decades ago.
Hold them to their own standards - when it’s against whites it’s also ‘racism’ or it’s discrimination against anyone because of their skin color and no other data.
This is NOT true. How much "over time" (meaning history) does one want to go back through? There are nearly 8 billion people alive today, but there were an estimated 110 billion people who lived throughout human history prior to our time. Most of them had hard-scrabble lives, but generation by generation they built the modern world. Civilization, as we understand it, began among light-skinned people living around Mesopotamia, the Mediterranean and Europe.
If one only wants to focus on American history from colonial times, European immigrants built the country, not by privilege, but through hard work.

According to a rough survey of TV commercials, the US population is made up of between 74-86% blacks with a smattering of minority white men who are invariably either clowns of terminally stupid.
White women far better by choosing a well-heeled black as a mate. Black females, regardless of age, are easy to pick out because they all sport one variety or another of an Afro wig.
There’s a space-romance novel by Jack Vance called “The Gray Prince.” It’s short, entertaining, and Jack Vance’s stuff is from the good old days of storytelling so you will probably read it pretty quickly if you can stand fiction at all.
There’s a race of - well, they’re like giant insectoids, huge, strong, but viewed as being little better off than animals and kinda stupid - on this planet called Erjins. They are used as servants by the humans who have settled the planet. The urbanized humans who dwell on the planet are obsessed with the rights and living conditions of the erjins, while the outlanders view them as a potential threat.
I’ll stop here, but you will get a kick out of “The Gray Prince” and the way it treats social themes that folks are so obsessed with today.

Note that for 55 years we have been told that there would be no discrimination against white people to advance non-whites.
It would be all about “redressing past wrongs”.
Apparently in the case of hispanics that means since we won wars against them and had our own country, those were “wrongs” that had to be righted.
And in Minnesota, where no slaves ever existed, it means Somalians, allowed in because they begged to be here, now demand to privilege over anyone guilty of being white while American.

Don't leave out the POC in the Indian subcontinent and China/East Asia.
Based on the impressive achievements of the various Mesoamerican cultures and the Inca, the Native Americans might have gotten there in time. Mesoamerica had writing and was working gold and silver, but hadn't made the leap to metal weapons and tools. That's a developmental curiosity.
Then there are the parts of the world that neither developed writing nor developed beyond the Stone Age. The descendants of these cultures are what the current fuss is mostly about.
