The whole list is a national embarrassment of oddballs. Think of the decent patriotic women who were skipped over.
The 5 women are: Black-Lesbian-Native American-Hispanic-Asian. All selected for their identities. Their “accomplishments” are secondary, if not considered at all.
Sadly, yes. At least the first group being minted… of the 5 selected I am hard pressed to find what was the reason most are being celebrated.. other than to claim “inclusiveness”… and there are far more deserving women of the various ethnicities to be recognized IMHO.
