Wummy (Woke Rummy)

This is an original creation. I would be shocked if someone else hasn't already done it. But it has the dual advantages of being both a lot of fun and oddly playable. Enjoy!

All of the normal rules of Rummy apply:

- All players start with seven cards and the discard pile contains a single face-up card - A turn consists of a draw or pickup from the discard pile, an optional play, and a discard - If you pick up more than one card from the discard pile, you must immediately play at least the bottom card and keep all the others - To end the game you must have zero cards after discarding - A valid play consists of at least three consecutive cards in the same suit or three identical cards of different suits. You may also add to other valid plays on the table. - If somebody else plays something that results in a card in the discard pile becoming playable, you may yell "Rummy in the deck!", pick up the card and all those on top of it, then play it immediately. - Scores are five for each numeric card, 10 for 10s and face cards, and 15 for each ace, positive in your playing area and negative in your hand.

Now the modifications:

[Trans suit] - If you have three or more cards in your hand that would make a valid play, except one of them is the wrong suit, it may identify as the correct suit for your play and you may proceed.

[Suit change] - If you obtain a card that would correct a trans suit card in another players' playing area, you may remove the trans suit card from play and place the cis-suit card in your playing area for later scoring.

[Red privilege] - If you play any set of at least three cards containing a red face card, and all members of the set are cis-red, you may yell "Red Privilege!" and play up to two additional red cards with the play that do not usually go in the set.

[Black Cards Matter] - If you play any set containing a black face card (cis-black), you may yell "Black Cards Matter!" and burn any single red card that has been played by removing it from play.

[That's Not Fair] - Anytime someone scoops up at least three cards from the discard pile, you may yell "That's Not Fair!" and randomly steal one card from their haul. But not the bottom card.

[Special Accommodation] - Anytime you feel disadvantaged, even if it's not your turn, you can take a card from the top of the draw pile. But you can't do it again until somebody else has done it.

[Fight the Power] - If someone has zero cards after discarding, you may give that person one of your cards as long as you did not receive it from another person. If nobody gives such a person a card, the game is over.

Permit me to add one additional modification.

[The Biden Finish] - The runner-up at the end of the game can claim that he actually won. Everyone must agree with him.
