GOA / Washington Free Beacon reported that the ATF has nearly 1 billion firearms transaction records on file. What does this mean? Should gun owners be worried?
I wish they’d try to take them now. Let’s get on with it.
Defacto registration! Hooray for peaceful slavery!
We have a great data base on who can buy guns, whether it’s a rifle, shotgun or handgun.
But voting? Not so much
No, a weaponized, woke, deep-state law enforcement bureaucracy knowing where every gun owner and their weapons are is a guarantee of your rights and safety....
(Do I really need a sarcasm tag?)
It would be naive to think they weren’t keeping these records. The constitution means nothing to these people and there is no accountability when the violate it. Just look at any government agency, they are all violating our constitutional rights.
Got nothing on me, I’ve got “none”.
And whats more, they are never held accountable for doing so. Everyone just shrugs.
Youtube channel: “Hey guys, in order to make more money off our channel, let’s make a 9-minute video with a scary headline so people will watch it and send it to their friends. The video itself will say NOTHING of consequence, but that doesn’t matter. We will get paid. That’s all that really matters.”
I wonder if they have a record of my boating accident. I sure do hope so. Do you think they’d accept a voluntary report of it?
No one should be surprised by this. No one. You did not really think they were destroying all those 4473’s did you?
All those gun purchases and background checks were supposed to be ourged fronrecords.
The federal gubmint wouldn’t lie to us now would they?
I thought by law they were supposed to be destroying after a certain period of time.
Is there a legal way to purchase and own a firearm without becoming part of a government database?
Sorry, Benjamin Franklin, but we have lost the Republic you and your fellow Founders so assiduously labored to give us.
Sure, buy it from a person and not from a gun store. Private transfer is completely legal.
Lots of those destroyed guns filtered back. From armorers, escort police. City boat handlers, go offshore, dump. A snub nose here, shotgun there, parts, you name it, reloaders, ancillary equipment.
Who’s gonna know?
ATF National Tracing Center started this in 1992 - 24 years after the GCA of 1968 and 6 years after the FOPA of 1986. When ATF decides to declare all semi-auto “assault rifles” in violation of “non-sporting purposes” per the GCA of 1968, DoJ will authorize DoTre to weaponize the IRS to force folks to give up their rifles. We will see then if TSHTF.
face to face private party cash transaction is legal
