BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - Virginia Tech announced Wednesday it will no longer require proof of vaccination or a negative test to attend indoor sporting events, according to the school’s athletics Facebook page.
Attendees will still be required to wear masks during indoor sporting events.
This comes after the school announced January 31 students will no longer be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to complete enrollment or receive in-person instruction.
But you must still wear your pointless, ineffective, virtue-signaling face diaper.
Election year.
They’ll be back.
These people will never give up.
A college dropping the vaxx mandate is a big deal.
Probably seeing too many young male athletes dropping with cardiac problems.
The pro-Covid folks must be getting livid. I’m so tired of them, all of them.
this virtue-signaling mask has given these idiots a bad name. Like the woman photographed swimming with a mask on. Someone is lacking critical thinking, IMO.
All dirt roads lead to Blacksburg...
At least that’s what I read on a bumper sticker once...
GO Hoakies!
So in other words, attendance is down?
May this be a trend at colleges nationwide.
AG Myeres is challenging state college vaccine mandates so maybe VA Tech is getting ahead of the inevitable.
Very encouraged by this, great move. Next the masks go. Thanks to AG Miyares also, for saying a couple weeks back that he did not believe the state Universities could require vaccinations.
Everyone report to the VT president for undoing those shots you took...
F them and all the rest.
Yeah we just took down the vaccine database today.
no vaxx, and no covid, ever....
I am not allowed to go to my daughter’s tournament in DC. It is stupid.
The students should all mask up to get into the basketball game. After the first point(s) scored by the Hokies, the student section should stand up as one and rip the masks off their faces.
Indeed it is. This is the first I’ve heard of a major college or university dropping their vax mandate for students.
