At least Fox News, unlike some other media, isn’t reporting that he was an all-time great of the Washington Commanders.

Seemed like coach Allen really hated Sonny.

Seemed that way. I liked Kilmer (given his limitations, he did well), but Sonny was great.

The Washington team? At first I thought maybe they were talking about a college career at Washington State. But no, they didn’t want to write “Redskins”.
It wasn’t that many years ago when network television happily broadcast the band playing “Hail to the Redskins”. “Commanders” doesn’t fit the meter, so that’s dead, troo.

If they would have been wise rather than woke, they would’ve changed the name to the Washington Warriors....as in Indian warrior. That’s not racist, but rather a hat-tip to Native American bravery. They could have kept the same logo as well, plus the alliterative name would have been cool.

They won’t even print the word Redskins even in the past.

The NFL threw me away as a fan and clearly continues to do so.
Snyder possibly the worst owner in professional football.

I just hate this PC writing that I see in this article. Charlie Taylor didn’t get to the Pro football hall of fame with the Washington team.
He got there playing for the Washington Red Skins. Back during the glory days of the NFL.
Todays PC NFL.They can keep it.
