The AIS he keeps referring to stands for "Automatic Identification System". AIS works via a combination of GPS, VHF radio, and an AIS transponder. The transponder broadcasts a ship's information, such as speed and heading (information gathered by GPS, of course), the ship's name, port of origin, size and draft, and more, over VHF frequencies 161.975 megahertz and 162.025 MHz.
I say hunt these yachts down and sink them......
We just confiscate property because it belongs to a citizen of a nation DC doesn’t like? And by what reason do they deserve to be sunk at sea? Any other insane ideas?

How about we just find them and sink them if we are so concerned they coordinated with Putin to begin with.
As far as Ukraine goes, someone told me long ago, when the police come to the whorehouse, everyone goes. We tied our ship of state to a corrupt place whether it is Rusky corrupt or US corrupt. So, while it is sinking below the waves it is grabbing everyone involved and taking them with it. Meanwhile, China is just sitting back and watching this unfold like a matinee movie. When the dust settles, they will make their move. They do not have to do anything now as their long term enemy is financially sunk (US) and their pro temp ally on their western border is beyond hope too.
That doesn’t make sense. These yachts didn’t declare war on us.
Right you are. If Ukraine wants to hunt them down and sink them because they are at war, that is their business. If we were to help them do so, then Russia would have every right to do the same to our property.
If we were at war with them, we would have the right to do so, and the expectation is that we WOULD do so.
But for other countries to hunt them down who are not engaged in hostilities...you are spot on to liken it to prospective treatment of the property of protesters and vax refusers.
I understand Hot Tabasco’s sentiment off the cuff, because there is a lot about this that makes me feel about various things to both Ukraine and Russia, and that doesn’t mean I side with one, the other, or both.
I have been personally inconsistent on some of these things and flat out wrong in some respects, but it is because it is the “rush to war” by people I DESPISE that I find I am reacting to.
There was some teenager on Fox that keeps track of all of these hidden mega yachts - he got his start by tracking Musk’s yacht. Said is willing to help government find them.

It has been said that the US is tryng to destroy these labs before the Russians can grab them in the seige. Now we know about the money laundering that Biden (and probably others), and other nefarious activities. Perhaps Ukraine has always been a profit center for corrupt politicians.

This is a good example of how DNC/Media/Soros supporters on Ukraine are reacting emotionally.
In this case, Russia objected to us bombing the crap out of CIVILIANS in Belgrade during the Kosovo War (it wasn’t a war crime because the Europeans supported it). Would Russian have been justified in sinking US yachts in retaliation?
