UFC fighter and cattle farmer Bryce Mitchell spoke his mind when asked about the conflict in Ukraine prior to his fight at UFC 272 Media Day, and his response caused quite the stir.
“I’m not going nowhere to fight none of these wars for these politicians,” Mitchell said at a UFC press conference. “I’m staying at home, and when the war comes to Arkansas, I will dig my boots in the ground and I will die for everything I love. And I will not retreat.”
“I will dig my boots in the Arkansas soil and I will fight for the people I love, for the land that I love, and the way of life that I love. But I’m not going overseas to fight,” he continued. “I don’t know what’s going on.”
Mitchell won his fight against Edson Barboza at UFC 272, winning in a unanimous decision at T-Mobile Arena.
“I’m a warrior of God,” Mitchell told Joe Rogan during his octagon interview. “I fear no man. I live and breathe this sport...”

I would love it if, in the places/neighborhoods they hate the cops the most, the departments would come out and say....OK. You no longer have to pay the portion of your taxes that go to police, but we’re not patrolling the area nor answering calls in it. Good luck.
When they come screaming and begging for the cops, re-implement their tax contribution but multiply it by 5.

Secession
It's time for us to jettison those who reject our national values because there's no changing them. Time to secede.
We should extend the invitation to secede on a county by county basis.
While we're at it, since we'd be forming a new country, we should extend the invitation to counties in Canada and Mexico as well.

Where I’m at the police attempting to investigate shootings and killings in the “urban” parts of town are met with silence....no one saw anything, no one knows anything and then they black community has the unmitigated gall to complain the police aren’t doing enough.
And they wonder why those areas look like a war zone.
I suspect that’s a common theme around the country.
It is. It was that way where I used to work.
Sadly, there are a small few that are trapped and very much appreciate the cops, even if they don’t say it publicly. Those are the ones that call the cops from their homes, rarely give their names, but will provide some really good information.
Hard part would be to separate them from the ones you’re talking about and put them up in one section of the city, making it safe and giving them opportunity.
The others get relegated to the areas where there are no cops, just big T-Walls and controlled access.
