Former Fox News anchor Juliet Huddy said President Donald Trump tried to kiss her in an elevator around the time he married First Lady Melania. Huddy, who left Fox News after allegedly receiving a settlement after she made a complaint against disgraced anchor Bill O’Reilly, described how the mogul leaned in to kiss her after he took her to lunch at Trump Tower in 2005.
  • FOX News Poll: Democrat Doug Jones Leads Judge Roy Moore By 8 Points

After a week of non-stop media hits and allegations be several women of inappropriate conduct 38 years ago — Republican Judge Roy Moore is now down by 8 points in the latest FOX News poll. Despite the allegations it is still stunning that Alabama Republicans would vote for a committed anti-American Socialist to represent them in the US Senate. Judge Moore has a lot of work to do between now and the election on December 12th. The Gloria Allred tactics of personal destruction appear to be working for Democrats.

Alabama voters want a candidate who will represent their state with honor -- and they think Doug Jones has strong moral character and Roy Moore doesn’t....    Jones is up by eight points over Moore among Alabama likely voters, 50 percent vs. 42 percent, in a Fox News Poll conducted Monday through Wednesday evenings.  His lead is outside the poll’s margin of sampling error (±3.5 percentage points).  Nine percent are undecided or plan to vote for someone else. Alabama voters decide who will fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a December 12 special election. ...

The number of voters happy with how things are going in the country is down 10 percentage points since April and stands at just 35 percent. It hasn’t been that low since 2013. At the same time, dissatisfaction jumped to 64 percent -- an 11-point increase.

James Murdoch, the CEO of 21st Century Fox and son of conservative media magnate Rupert Murdoch, ripped President Trump's response to violence in Charlottesville, Va., last weekend, also pledging a $1 million donation to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). The Hollywood Reporter reported Thursday that it had obtained the email memo Murdoch sent to friends. In the email, Murdoch says he was concerned with Trump's comments on the violence that broke out after a white supremacist rally last Saturday. "What we watched this last week in Charlottesville and the reaction to it by the President of the United States concern all...

Fox News host Shepard Smith said Wednesday that the network tried and failed to get a Republican on-air to defend President Trump's controversial comments on violence in Charlottesville, Va. over the weekend "Our booking team — and they're good — reached out to Republicans of all stripes across the country today," Smith said on his show "Shepard Smith Reporting." "Let's be honest, Republicans don't often really mind coming on Fox News Channel. We couldn't get anyone to come and defend him here because we thought, in balance, someone should do that," he continued. Smith's comments followed an off-the-rails press conference...

So I'm sitting here watching Fox News before going to bed and this sack of crap called Rick Leventhal begins his show giving voice to all the limp-wristed Trump-haters who are condemning President Trump for his "lackluster" condemnation of white supremacist groups and then he brings on some airhead teleprompter reader named Kristin Fisher who reads a statement from some supposed neo-Nazi group praising President Trump for not attacking them. What a sack of crap and crapette. I'm done with Fox News.

The collapse of health care reform in the Senate on Monday night is a fitting coda to President Donald Trump's first six months in office, a tenure that has lurched from controversy to controversy and now appears to be on the verge of tilting directly into the political abyss.

(CNN)The Russians just played the President. It was predictable. And he let it happen. On paper, Vladimir Putin should not have had the upper hand going into the meeting. To start with, Russia has been living with sanctions put in place more than three years ago because of their annexation of Crimea. And most Americans, save a few people including the President of the United States, are confident that Putin led the Russian intervention into the American election and into many other elections around the world.

One thing the media should have learned from the 2016 campaign season is that reporters really need to hit the road and do more shoe-leather journalism — get in the car and drive to places like downtown Arkansas and talk with the people who live there. ABC News chief political analyst Matthew Dowd recently had a conversation with a Navy SEAL, and what he learned from that one talk was pretty shocking. Matthew Dowd ✔@matthewjdowd I had a conversation with a Navy Seal the other day here in Texas. He said nearly every Seal is embarrassed by this President/GOP leaders....

Scalise was in critical condition Wednesday afternoon, MedStar Washington Hospital tweeted. He had surgery after being shot in the hip and was initially said to be stable.

Fox News host Neil Cavuto tore into President Donald Trump on Tuesday night for Trump's continued social-media outbursts that targeted the news media and members of his own administration in recent days. "Mr. President, it's not the 'fake-news media' that's your problem," Cavuto said. "It's you. It's not just your tweeting — it's your scapegoating. It's your refusal to see that sometimes you're the one who's feeding your own beast — and acting beastly with your own guys." *** "I find it ironic that on this, the 73rd anniversary of D-Day, some of your most ardent backers are desperately girding...

[snip] Faith, Keith and I arrived early to set up for the interview in a room adjacent to another room where a volunteer BBQ was to take place. As the time for the interview neared, Gianforte came into the room. We exchanged pleasantries and made small talk about restaurants and Bozeman. During that conversation, another man — who we now know is Ben Jacobs of The Guardian — walked into the room with a voice recorder, put it up to Gianforte's face and began asking if he had a response to the newly released Congressional Budget Office report on the...

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith is speaking out about coming out. Smith, managing editor of the conservative network, revealed last month that while he always knew he was "different" than his peers growing up in Mississippi, he feels he never had the need to out himself - because he was never in. "Someone asked me if Roger Ailes had been abusive to me, and I said, 'No. He was always good to me," and that was the truth," Smith said during a talk at the University of Mississppi's Meek School of Journalism, where he was once a student. "And when...

The company has quietly put out feelers for a possible new head of Fox News with the preference, say sources, that it be a woman. The Murdochs may be preparing for a leadership change at Fox News. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Rupert Murdoch and his sons James and Lachlan, CEO and co-chairman of Fox News parent 21st Century Fox, have quietly put out feelers for a new head of Fox News. And the preference, according to two sources familiar with the Murdochs’ thinking, is that the new leader be female.

The original definition of tragedy, dating from the classical Greeks, depends upon a fatal flaw. That is why Bill O’Reilly’s departure from Fox News qualifies as “tragic,” even though there are many collateral victims as well, starting with conservatives who are losing a gutsy interrogator unafraid of the stature or political correctness of his interview subjects. As I read the complaints against O’Reilly, it sounds as if he was alleged to have been behaving like a character out Mad Men, the soap opera about a Madison Avenue ad agency in the 1960s. Bill seems to have been old school in...
