Broadcast News, great movie. Never forget the classic “flop sweat” scene with Albert Brooks.

Altered States. Even he said he threw everything he had at it.

Wonder what those natural causes were. Seems sudden.

The older he got, w/ facial hair, the more he looked like Steve Jobs:

He and Lee Marvin were great in Gorky Park.

Crap. A grossly underrated actor. Altered States is an underrated classic.

Found this:
“Among those at a press conference Tuesday hosted by the Berkeley Institute and the biotech group Alin Foundation was Academy Award-winning actor and cancer survivor William Hurt. “It’s a moment you only know when it happens to you,” said Hurt, who was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer that spread to the bone. May 16, 2018”

Wow. Surprising but then again I didn't think of him as 71. Body Heat, essentially a remake of Double Indemnity with more graphic sex, was a great flick. It put Hurt and Kathleen Turner and Lawrence Kasdan in the upper echelon. RIP.
