This happens quite a few years at this time of year. Migratory birds can spread it.

It’s more than 5 million chickens destroyed in Iowa.

Happens from time to time. Iowa has 60 million or so chickens. And it’s just one state.

More concerning is a unusual and lethal pig disease that popped up in Central Iowa.
The bird thing happens quite a few years, but this pig disease is an unusual one. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into something big.

This is about the same amount of virus deaths in humans created by Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci.

Wow. I’m glad my sister in law and her family (living close to me) have a chicken coop! Their eggs are so fresh and tasty!

Most likely the pathogen was brought in from another country like Egypt or China.

Let me get this straight. Millions of chickens must be culled again and again because they ALL got very sick with a virus (or crap living conditions, whatever)? OR - Some are sick, and some “tested positive” but are asymptomatic. No matter, they must all DIE. To hell with the Food Supply!!!
I guess we should be very thankful to still be alive after so many tested positive for the Magic Cootie that we asymptomatics weren’t all nuked by Gates & Fauci... yet...

Interesting that in Iowa, they seem to be saying outbreak started with a backyard flock of 42 birds.

First, I find that interesting because IMHO 42 is a fairly large “backyard” flock. Second, I would think backyard chickens would be more isolated as compared to a large “factory” farm...

Chicken farmers, please weigh in!
