I was wrong he is running in both directions..
It is a trap, don’t matter if male or female....maybe if they gave one 5 seconds to decide.
I believe a female would see him running away towards the light “Safety” as a male would see the opposite.

I’m a female and I had no problems seeing he was running towards me. ???? Could that be the reason? I have a male brain trapped in a female body? I was considered a tomboy when I was a child. Thank the Lord my parents didn’t have puberty blockers back then.
