Former child star Danny Bonaduce is taking a temporary leave from his radio show due to an unnamed illness.
“Some news to share. I’m taking a temporary medical leave from my radio show,” “The Partridge Family” star, 62, tweeted on Friday. “I’ll share more when I know more. I’m still working towards receiving a diagnosis. What I know is, I need time to focus on my health. I love my job and talking to you guys & I’ll be back on the air soon.”

It looks like he's in the advanced stage of something. I'd guess it to be a cancer of some kind. Cancer just eats away at you.
Not much info. But depending on how long he’s been seeking help, it could be its a rare disease, rather than cancer that everyone looks for.

Addicts have to be addicts. It’s the way they are built.
Their serotonin receptors tend to be really harder to satisfy than non-addicts, so they just can’t go moderate on anything.
For them, the key is to go hard on something on healthy, productive and enjoyable.

Many people who aren’t addicts often think that an addict just needs to stop. Basically, you’re asking to stop with what brings him a modicum of pleasure and having him step into a black void with nothing to fill their time or bring pleasure.
I’m happy to hear that you’re aware that it isn’t that simple.
My friend owns a rehab.
My father is an alcoholic.
I could have been an alcoholic, because I can down a 12 case of beer without getting drunk. I took that as a warning that I should not go down that path, so I became a non-drinker.
I drink lots of homemade iced tea.

Yeah. I remember he beat the hell out of the guy who played Greg Brady. I thought they were supposed to take it easy on each other but he didn’t. Thought he was kind of a jerk for that.
I think he’s just wired in the all or nothing fashion.
Many people with addiction issues are wired that way.

Partridge Family. He was once a busboy in a hotel. Imagine how much it sucks being famous having to do that.
