My question is:

"Is Politico a Deep State Tool?"

Is that why the published the leaked opinion?

"The CIA’s least covert mission The country’s premier intelligence agency is looking to showcase “a softer side” via social media."

Former director of the CIA George Tenet (1997-2004), who was John Brennan’s former superior, holds the reigns of Allen & Co. The cast of characters involves a lot of the usual suspects. Indeed as shown to the right, the marriage between government and mainstream media is often literal. It’s the same know-who-rules-over-you cesspool. Allen & Co operate like inside made men in most of the financial grand slams in the social and mainstream media tech world. The company was one of 10 underwriters for the Google initial public offering in 2004. In 2007, Allen was sole adviser to Activision in its $18 billion merger with Vivendi Games. In November 2013, Allen & Co was one of seven underwriters on the initial public offering of Twitter. Allen & Co. was the adviser of Facebook in its $19 billion acquisition of WhatsApp in February 2014. In 2015, Allen & Co. was the adviser to Time Warner in its $80 billion 2015 merger with Charter Communications; AOL in its acquisition by Verizon; Centene Corporation in its $6.8 billion acquisition of Health Net; and eBay in its separation from PayPal. In 2016, Allen & Co was the lead adviser to Time Warner in its $108 billion acquisition by AT&T; LinkedIn for its merger talks with Microsoft; Walmart in its $3.3 billion purchase of Jet.com; and Verizon in its $4.8 billion acquisition of Yahoo!. Psyops is big money. A prime example is Allen & Co, benignly self-described as a “boutique investment firm.” The firm managed the merger between Disney and Fox. https://www.winterwatch.net/2020/09/web-of-slime-the-cia-as-a-political-action-group/

I have always found it an interesting read, whether I agree with them or not. It’s a good publication.

Is Politico red or blue?

That’s a joke question, right?

Politico is a far left, deep blue, Dem Party propaganda outfit.
I am surprised you still don’t know that.

Just like the NYT, Politico may have some well written articles from time to time, but there is no doubt they are Democrat Centric except for the most generic data.

“Is Politico a Deep State Tool?”

Is the sky blue?

Is water wet?

The “news media” do not exist to deliver news.
They exist to make money from advertising.
Such as it ever was.

Politico? Isn’t it just part of the Dmoecrat Party like most of the so-called “news” media?

KKR appeared as a ‘White Knight’ to my long term employer back in the early 90s I think, give or take a few years. My company was in danger of a hostile takeover and sought help. The White Knight brought hemlock, poisoned and broke the company up. This ultimately lead to hundreds of people losing their long time jobs in a company that had long been successful. Sure they went public and surrendered too much, but those original big owners made a ton in the process.

Business is complex and there are predators in every direction. My company messed up. The deal never hurt me and I even made a few Bucks, but I hated the new intergalactic ownership. In time I left and it was the best thing that I ever did in terms of my work life.

KKR is the dark side of the Force. If they own Politico then beware as they have a filthy agenda.

In my opinion, Politico is first of all an Establishment publication.

Some of the Establishment (like McConnell, or Romney) is on the right. But most of it is on the left.

Politico primarily favors Dems, particularly as the GOP is now heavily MAGA.

They are Establishment trash.

Several individuals at Politico know who leaked it, but they aren’t talking.

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co started in 1976. The company is 46 years old. They hired Petraeus recently. Looking for conspiratorial connections between people on the other side of the political fence doesn't mean they are there.

Axel Springer used to own Politically Left publications in Germany.

I did not know KKR bought it out.

Politico might employ some Conservative journalists, but Politico has never been a Conservative publication.
