Well, the mods can pull this, but food in the 70's was boring, except for "pop rocks".

Oatmeal? Canned soup? Pudding? None of that ever went away. Worst clickbait ever.

I think quiche started being popular in the US in the 1950s; but really picked up in the 70s and through the 80s. I like quiche.

Now pudding skin singles? That could be a thing.

The video has a link to a story on Mashed. Here’s the list so you don’t have to do the same thing I did.
1. Cheese Fondue
2. Casseroles
3. Microwave food (?)
4. Boxed cake mix (Never went away)
5. Poke cake (cake with grooved poked down into it filled with something)
6. Pop rocks
7. Pudding
8. Sloppy Joes
9. Peanut Butter
10. Condensed soup
11. Oatmeal
12. Boxed mac and cheese

American beer was popular. Now I only drink it in a bar to save a buck.

That is funny Ayds was like every other commercial, in the late 70’s, and early 80’s.

I liked it! You could get it at the Goddard gift shop and at the Air and Space museum. It seems like eating very crispy styrofoam when you bite into it, but it tastes remarkably like ice cream.
It was developed for the Apollo mission, but I don’t think it was ever used in flight. You can still buy it:

Pop rocks were fun. My girlfriend in high school liked to load a bunch of them in her mouth then kiss me.
Interesting experience.
