It is time for separation of school and state.
We should probably invent a new term, such as Neo-Marxist, to describe stuff like CRT. I think Marx himself would be nearly as baffled as we are at the weirdness that is modern leftism. That said, I agree that CRT and similar ideologies have their roots in Marxism, but it does not follow that any Marxist would subscribe to these derivative ideologies.
Put bluntly, I think modern conservatives are just being lazy, using the term “Marxist” as a way to inflame others against something without doing the harder work of explaining what is wrong with these new ideologies and explaining their foundational premises and why they are wrong. In doing so they so the seeds for their own failure rather than building an informed opposition to the ideologies they oppose.
I hope everyone has come to grips with the fact that the country as we know it is gone, and to plan accordingly.
Let’s hope the GOP takes both houses of the MN Legislature and kicks this crap to the curb.
I have been telling people for 40 years that after the communist party in America lost its luster due to Stalins policies, that the only place it survived in the US was Minnesota. All they did was change their name to the Democratic Farm Labor Party. They have held a firm grip on the state since. Remember it is the only state Reagan did not win in his historic landslide election victory of 1984.
Sadly, Minnesota is lost.
