Battery powered chainsaws are the way to go for trimming trees around the yard. So much cleaner and easier than a gas motor.

Oh He has a battery powered chainsaw? Oh that is your problem right there!!

Dude you should have gotten the gas ones.

I own the 023 (older model) and the Farm Boss. No problems. Except with my 021 which I wore out the motor, my Stihl repair man told me “this is an occasional use chain saw and you have used it more than occasionally”

I own a few battery powered lawn tools that I bought last year and the battery runs down so quickly even with extra batteries.

Gas power is so much better, with the power you need.

Yes you all read correctly, Morgana runs a chain saw.

I’m a believer now. Sufficient power. Cuts fast. So light. My wife can use it. I actually miss a gas engine though.

I have a gas powered pole hedge trimmer. Tiny engine. Does a SUPER job. Made by Tanaka. Got in 2017 for about $400. Still starts easily. Lightweight. Gets heavier the longer you use it.

Yep.
No more mixing gas and oil (or buying mixed) and a lot less noise. You still have to use bar chain oil on the electrics. I have found that a battery saws-all with wood-cut blades are actually nice, except you have to cut something solid, because the reciprocating blade will just oscillate anything that’s loose, but sawzall blades quite a bit cheaper than chainsaw chains. They’re basically disposable.
