The leading cause of line of duty deaths amongst police was COVID-19 in 2021.
States with a large number of unvaccinated first responders “may face major workforce disruptions due to COVID-19 illness,” according to a study released Tuesday by researchers at the University of Miami.
First responders are more likely to contract COVID-19 than another population of individuals, but less likely to trust vaccines, the study says.
Last year, the leading cause of line of duty deaths amongst law enforcement was COVID-19, with 301 COVID deaths in 2021, according to the Office Down Memorial Page end of year report. This year is no different. The mid-year report from the group found over 95 COVID deaths in 2022. In fact, the group concluded the large increase in law enforcement deaths was entirely due to COVID-19 year over year.
The study looked at firefighters and police officers primarily in Arizona and Florida and found that out of the 1415 participants, 829 were fully vaccinated and 586 were not. The majority of the participants who took the survey were white men.

I would be willing to bet that of the 301 so called Covid deaths, 250 of them were jabbed. I wonder how many cops died in vehicle crashes or had been shot, were classified as Covid?.... Bad joke, but not impossible.

Hmmm. I understand most first responders are young and under 70 years old. They were never in any epidemiologically significant danger of dying from c-19. The part of the article I read, seemed like the dumb quotes last summer like ‘everyone who is dying is unvaccinated’ - at that time 90% of the elderly were vaccinated.
Simple - Risk benefit analysis. Not propaganda feeding useful fools.
My Sil, son and daughter are first responders. Paramedic firemen and RN. All three refused the vax.

The corporate medical elite gleefully saw an announcement that their jab was "FDA approved" and used that lie to mandate the jab for millions, seeing that hundreds of thousands if not millions more would lose their job for not being willing to take it. Our military has been decimated and lost readiness by forcing essentially all its members to get that jab. In actuality, the supposed FDA-approved drug has nowhere been available. What has been giving has 99.999% the experimental versions. Some favored people were given saline, a placebo.
