Reminds me of prohibition when dehydrated grape bricks were sold with warnings of how NOT to turn it into wine.

When the alphabets raid these places your name and address will be right there for them to see. Can you cash and carry one from a gun show?

Same caliber though generally a bit less accurate as issued. On the other hand, a LOT more reliable than the AR-10.

Point is I prefer a full power rifle that can make assailants go away at 800+ instead of an intermediate caliber that has problems at 300-600. :P

Awesome will a glut of decent weapons lower the price?

Same caliber though generally a bit less accurate as issued. You're saying the FAL is less accurate than the AR10?
On the other hand, a LOT more reliable than the AR-10. But the FAL is more reliable than the AR10? The AR10 is pretty reliable in my experience. Never a misfire or jam.

1. Correct - the FAL has a known issue where pressure on the handguards will alter the point of impact. They can also exhibit significant vertical stringing as the barrel heats up. Look at pictures of the FAL in use in Northern Ireland towards the end of the Troubles and you’ll see British soldiers holding them by the magazine/mag well while shooting specifically because of this issue. Mine has a freefloated barrel so it’s a non-issue.

2. Yes, it’s more reliable. The Brazilians issued both and stayed with the FAL; the Indians evaluated the AR-10 against the FAL and found it wanting.

The FAL is what you need when the velociraptors get released. Would work on Tyrannosaurs too.

I just posted on Breitbart about 9-11 and moslems who killed 2800 without using guns.
Disqus held up my posts “for further review”.

When I reposted but changed the word “moslems” to “People” they went through with no problem.
So Disqus does show favoritism to certain radical groups.

That’s not nearly enough.
“Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms” should be a vending machine, not a federal agency.

They should be thrilled. Swapping ARs/Aks for pickups means less climate change and fewer criminals. What’s the problem with that?

On that subject, I saw some nice ammo deals at 2awarehouse.com today. Just sharing. My wife has a Sig P238 380. Nice prices for FMJ target ammo for it. 380 is always more than 9mm.

NSSF points out there are more AR/AK-style firearms “in circulation today than there are Ford F-Series trucks on the road.”

pointless comparison

Would work on Tyrannosaurs too.

You haven't seen the size of the Tyrannosauruses we have around here then. They're not your everyday garden variety of Tyrannosaur. They're huge. Genetically modified I'm sure.
Same with the snakes. I killed a hybrid that turned out to be a rattle headed copper moccasin. Big sucker.

I’d bet that the F-150s have killed more people than the “assault weapons”

Can I go to the Ford dealer to get an AR-47?

Are you both speaking of the same AR-10? I don’t doubt the recent ones, upscaled AR-15 clones are more dependable than Stoner’s version used by the Portuguese in their African colonies back in the day.

The ones originally made by Armalite and that served as the base for the AR-15 are the ones I’m talking about. The Portuguese liked them but most places that trialed them against the FAL had them turn out to be less reliable than the FAL.

They’re definitely in common use, and more people are buying them all the time.

“More AR/AK-Style Firearms in Circulation ‘than Ford F-Series Trucks on the Road”

That’s why those rear window gun racks have room for two or three guns.
