It was a hidden gem I stumbled across, as I was looking for other material.
I hope you can enjoy it, as I have.
You mean like the Irish and the Brits?
Who can be surprised? They’re all crazy.
They forgot to include the Breatharians.
I saw the first word in the headline, just assumed the article had something to do with the Vice President.
Never mind.
It’s a perfect lifestyle for libs: yet another opportunity to be smug and self-righteous
They need to learn to eat bugs.
You can’t be too woke.
Liberalism is a gnostic belief system.
Everything that falls under liberalism is modern day Gnosticism.
Horizontal hostility.... I was going in a whole other direction.
Different levels of the cult always virtue grandstand more and more.
“…Rothgerber [6], for example, found this distinction helpful in explaining how vegetarian pet owners handled the psychological consequences of living with meat-eating pets…”
There's plenty there to enjoy.
This is how I would have lampooned these groups. I would hope I could have pulled this off.
Reminds me of this:
Q: How do you know if a woman is a vegetarian?
A: Don’t worry, she’ll tell you.
Most excellent, virtue imposters all.
I’m better than you because you’re doing it wrong.
Wut
I would love to read more but I don’t let me iPad eat cookies.
needs more cowbell...
Vegetarianism and veganism appear to be motivated by the religious impulse to sacrifice. That is, by giving something up and adopting specific disciplines they hope to repent of their misdeeds, assuage their guilt, propitiate forces beyond their control, increase their good fortune, and obtain a better future.
Therefore, it is unsurprising that they form sects with doctrinal differences and mutual hostilities.
So far, they are not burning each other at the stake. But one may hope.
Do you know how to tell if someone is a vegetarian?
Sounds like they took the Frank Gorshin episode of Star Trek and made a feature movie out of it.
Signifying nothing, I’ve had a recent experience with veganism.
I experienced daily periods of just being out of it and slept an hour or so. I learned that two medications hindered Vitamin B12 production and absorption. I started looking for B12 supplements and learned there are lots and lots and lots of them. Vegans all suffer from a near total lack of B12 and must take the supplements. So, there is a big market of Vegan directed B 12 supplements.
Second, I have experienced a serum protein deficiency. I have lab results indicating the less than normal value. The problem was thought to be associated with abdominal surgery and resultant inaction for several months. I gave up on my doctor’s attempts to remedy the problem and began a thorough look.
What I discovered was that the daily antiacid medication taken to rid gastric reflux had a very uncommon side effect of lowering serum protein levels. I began to take the drug just weeks before the surgery. I immediately stopped the drug. I looked for protein dietary supplements and guess what. Vegans suffer from protein deficiency and the Walmart protein supplements shelves have tons of products directed specifically toward vegans. Since most protein athlete supplements contain whey, vegans shun them.
So, bottom lone id that veganism is for at least two reasons very unhealthy. Absent the strong efforts of B12 and protein supplement makers, Vegan life is not possible. You just waste away as a vegan
