He was the “king of revenge porn” — until his shocked and fed-up victims took him down.
The “king” in question is Hunter Moore, the founder of the now-defunct revenge porn website IsAnyoneUp.com and whose horrific enterprise is examined — along with his victims’ desperate fight for justice — in a new three-part Netflix documentary, “The Most Hated Man on the Internet.”
Moore, 36, created the site in 2010 and it allowed people allegedly hurt by relationships to post anonymous NSFW sexual content without the consent of their partners.
“Me and my friends would post [photos of] a bunch of girls, and I was like, ‘Yo, I can make money of f–kin’ people over,'” he says in archival footage featured in the trailer.
One interviewee in the series noted she received over 200 notifications that her photo was posted and another recalled persistently asking Moore to delete images of her.
“The response that I got [from him was]: ‘LOL,'” the subject says.
Charlotte Laws and her daughter Kayla — the latter falling victim to the site in 2012 when she was 24 — were interviewed in the doc about their scary experiences with Moore...

well fine, he IS a jerk.
are we talking about this guy or the GGW guy?
I’m curious how they made 15 year olds pose topless.
If I am going to send one, it sure won’t be mine.
I’m going to the zoo.
Although even the Polaroids can come back to bite, like Dr Laura found out.
Jeez, talk about the Dark Side. Sicksicksick.
They should’ve stuck him in the middle of a women’s prison after educating all the inmates why he was there…
He was convicted because they proved in court that he hired a man to hack e-mail accounts and gain access to women’s hard drives and cloud storage. Some of the women’s photos were submitted by ex’s. But many, MANY were hacked and stolen off phones, laptops and icloud accounts.
Had all the images been submitted, the scum bag would have never been convicted because there was not and STILL not laws preventing posting private images if the person has shared them with someone else.
The message: never take nude, semi-nude photos of yourself, not for anybody. You’ll never know who’ll get hold of it or where it might land.
We had one locally some years ago…
A woman found murdered, and her husband was the Person of Interest.
He denied everything, of course, and supposedly had an alabi.
I don’t remember all the details, but the nailed him by the pings off the cell phone tower.
I don’t want to read the entire story right now, or to walk down that long and sticky road.
Is he now locked up or not?

Porn coming out of Eastern Europe is largely minors or adults that appear to be minors. Much of it is home-made or videos of minors from websites where they receive donations.
I read an article about the Psychology of Porn. There is Incest Porn, Mormon Porn, Amish Porn, Necrophilia, Peeping Tom, Auditioning for Porn Porn, etc. all of which is just theater. There is even a resurgence of 1970’s porn videos because everyone was so hairy (chest hair, mustaches, long hair on women) back then which apparently isn’t a thing now.
I used to work with a guy who “complained” about his female next door neighbor walking naked around her house at 2AM past her windows with the shades open.
I asked him what was he doing looking thru her windows at 2AM?
He didn’t answer…
“nailed him by the pings off the cell phone tower”
Yep. That trips ‘em up very often.
Off subject, read your profile. Counting your felines we have at least 7 things in common.
Also, as I’m sure you know, all the cool kids were born in July......all the REALLY cool kids were born in the first week of July.
Cheers my friend. 👍
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy either
Cheers back at ya!👍😀
i understand that- but in most cases, these girls will flash for a teeshirt or hat.
I don’t know about the girls in Europe.
bUt choices, people.
His name is Hunter.
my hubby was in the Marines for 20 years.
Can’t tell ya how many wives sent pornographic ( not just nudes) pics to their hubbies, who then shared the pics.
and that’s a husband- someone you think you could trust.
Just not a good idea, IMHO.
A good number (about thirty) of the photo clusters were obtained by a hacker working with Mr Slimeball, erm, Moore.
These women took selfie nude photos, and emailed them to themselves, or to a lover who was hacked.
That's the basis of Moore's conviction.
Fair point, that nude photo abstinence eliminates the risk.
But blaming the victim is a leftist trait.
