Madcow thinks getting rid Trump gives democrats a better chance in the 2022 elections, and especially in the 2024 election for president.
What Trump needs to do to quiet her down and all democrats, is to declare his candidacy for president NOW.
Democrats have been going after him because they believe that he’s going to be running again. That scares them.
Trump should make it official, since democrats know that he’s running again, and most republicans expect him to run too.
Making it official will mean/indicate that, whatever democrats and the FBI and DOJ do to hamper Trump, is also tampering with the presidential election of 2024 and the congressional elections of 2022. That would be the same sort of action that Comey took to not hurt Hillary Clinton’s chances in the 2016 election.
Almost everybody believe/expect Trump to run again. So, let’s just make it official.
Yesterday I just finished reading Sean McMeakin’s “The Russian Revolution.” This should be recommended reading for anyone who wants to understand the goals of the left. Just as the Bolsheviks transformed the Tsar’s Okhrana (secret police) - which they decried as oppressive and murderous - into the Cheka (the forerunner of the KGB), so the leftists of today’s D.C. are transforming the FBI and other such (formerly) law enforcement agencies into their own Chekists. This transformation must be ended soon and reversed or we will descend into the same abyss as the poor, suffering citizens of Russian did a hundred years ago.
Just remember, defunding the (real and legitimate) police is only being pushed as a means to replace them with something whose purpose is to control the population of our nation in a way absolutely foreign and antithetical to the Constitution of the United States.
So, to summarize, I am not saying that history repeats itself, but it sure does rhyme. Beware!
I am slightly consoled knowing that when the revolution really starts kicking in (soon enough), then the intellectual class will most likely be the first ones purged i.e. useful idiots.
Being a professor or educator of any sort was a dangerous job in Stalin’s Russian utopia! The slightest hint of intellectual reason could get you years in Siberia.
When Russia came into Poland in 1939, The first thing Stalin did after emptying the Polish prisons of jailed pro-Russian revolutionaries, was for him to arrest all of the Trotsky communists and jail them instead. The same university elite that promoted the values of socialism and communism were the first ones purged.
Any sign of “intellect” was a death sentence in an NKVD interrogation. And professors have ALWAYS been the most arrogant class. I remember reading a book about a jewish refugee in Russia who played the dumb peasant farm boy during an NKVD shakedown and they let him go!
