90% of people in India, with 1400+ Million people, are vegetarians. Those who eat meat are lucky to get 1 serving of meat in a week. Yet, the population keeps increasing, people are getting taller, and I saw more fat people there on my last visit than pervious visits.

Eating them all up is sure not going to help the insect populations.

Are ALL insects to become endangered species because of the insatiable appetites of humanity?

Ants have a certain tang to them. Kick over an anthill and lap them up.

They refer to their own bug farms, not free-range bugs. In fact, eliminating free-range insects ups the market for farmed ones.
