Odd how Pope thinks he’s won this battle.
Union casualties totalled over 14,000 including 1,700 killed compared to 7,000 Confederate casualties, about 1,100 killed.
Confederate forces were outnumbered 62,000 to 51,000.
And in Kentucky, slightly outnumbered Confederates again defeated Union forces, making the war -- by the numbers won & lost at least -- a tie to date.
“Odd how Pope thinks he’s won this battle.”
What is odd: blue states, even after 150 years of reflection, continue to claim the right side won the war.
The U.S. Federal Register now has one million pages of rules to regulate our conduct; or is it two million pages now?
Regardless, in the just completed month of August 399 people were shot down in the streets of Chicago.
Is that right? Well... Democrats lost CW-I but now seem determined to fight & win CW-II.
So, there just seems to be no bottom to the depths of Democrats' hatred for America & Americans.
And they may win this time around -- seems like they almost won the last time.
Hard to guess where Americans can find the leadership & backbone to defeat them now.
Interesting how the media’s reporting on war hasn’t changed in the last 160 years. Still getting it wrong.
Fake news.
The Confederacy was a treasonous joke 160 years ago. It got it’s tail kicked royally.
So if the “Sound Will Rise again’’?
If the modern day Rebs got out of their parents basement and organized, who nows what would happen.
But face it folks, this isn’t 1860.
There are no ‘’masters and slaves’’ so just who are these modern Johnny Rebs going to fight?
And for what reason?
Not as long as we have Lincoln's party in opposition.
We can count on the Republican party in Washington to fight, fight, fight: Senators Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Richard Burr, Ben Sasse, Patrick Toomey, Bill Cassiday, Rob Portman, Thom Tillis, Marco Rubio . . . your list of Republican champions goes on and on.
You need a new filter.
