how does that matter ?

if it was than 2 bad people are not going to be doing any more crimes or supported by the state, and 2 will be in jail for a while (hopefully).

Regardless, two thugs are dead.

Even if the shooter is not guiltless in regard to drugs, at least there are two less thugs left to wander around on the streets.
