Is Xi Jinping Under Arrest After Military Coup? Three Senior Anti-Xi Officials Sentenced to Death
This lady, Jennifer Zeng, is a Chinese ex-pat who was one of the Falun Gong and arrested four times by the CCP, spent time in reeducation camps and finally made it here in the USA. I don't believe she is part of The Epoch Times but is of the same background. She gives reasons to believe something strange is happening in China but also gives reasons to believe Xi is still in charge.
Epoch Times does the best open source reporting on China. Far far better then any of the usual press prostitutes.

The transmutation of Marxism into something Chinese began with Mao, who recognized the importance of the peasantry to the revolution, rather than solely focusing on the workers, as did the Russians to the great harm of the peasantry.
After Deng’s modernizations and subsequent changes, I don’t believe that Marx and Engels would recognize the Chinese regime.
On the other hand, I believe that Confucius, Xunzi, and especially Hanfeizi would see a familiar governing philosophy.
Highly doubtful. Xi is likely squeezing out the CCP and they are trying g to retaliate.
