The unconnected roadway there has collapsed as well, so unless fire can melt concrete, and steel, and do it from distance across a body of water, I’m not buying the “accident” thing. It’s like NordStream, it was done knowing it’s beyond Ukraine capabilities but well within NATO’s.

This appears to have been done on the Ukrainian West side of the bridge. If so, only Ukraine has the right to object to any explosions there under international law, since the rest of the world doesn't recognize this as a Russian bridge. No, this probably wasn't an accident, although with a bridge this long, engineering problems are possible.

"Musk is Kompromised."

That looks like a possibility and not one that I want to believe. Maybe we'll find out as to whether or not.

I still think the chance of Ukraine regaining Crimea is pretty low, but I don't think they will be willing to negotiate until Russia is pushed back to the Feb 23 line or close to it. Putin is clearly trying the huff and puff into negotiations now. I have relatives in Europe and read the French, German and Polish papers every day (the last in translation). People are complaining about the high prices but no one is freezing or starving and are unlikely to do so. No mass layoffs yet, although some gas-dependent industries are clearly suffering like fertilizer production and glass making.

The only real credible military threat is if Putin reconstitutes a working army in Belarus and attacks Kyiv again to relieve pressure in the East and South. But I don't see how he can arm and train a large enough force. The Ukrainian army is now much better trained and equipped than it was, and if Putin tries that, I don't think they will hesitate to use artillery and rockets against Russian bases in Belarus. I also think Lukashenko is delicately trying to extricate himself from Putin's war.

Yup. The impact and explosions would have stripped just about all the insulation off the steel. I think the architect stated he was amazed the buildings didn’t come down right away.

Video, purportedly of dash camera of the strike:https://youtu.be/Zi_wEUtC9D4?t=37

There was a sound audible before the explosion, possibly the sound of a incoming rocket or missile.

Railway one fire and one one bridge span collapsed, that's a lot of damage for a single weapon hit.

It is a fake video. There is a CCTV available indicating a terrorist act by using a rigged truck.

Can’t really see enough from the images to tell you what took the lower part of the bridge down. The decking for the lanes closest to the upper burning deck are still intact, but the outer lanes further away from the upper burning deck are down.

So it looks like something separate did the shot on the lower lanes that are down, but I can’t see from enough clear and close perspectives to know much.

Could have been engineers on the footings and columns or accurate missiles from above. Don’t know yet. I’m guessing missiles because of the burning oil cars, but that could possibly have been an engineer job, too (rigged elsewhere, command detonation).

To me that video doesn’t look like the truck was the source of the explosion.

If I were Ukraine, I would want to destroy the bridge enough to prevent Russia from using it in the war, but where it would be relatively easy to fix if Ukraine gets Crimea back. Partisans and Russian freedom fighters know how to push a railroad rail out of allignment and a join enough to cause the train to derail. If the train was carrying inflammables they could be set afire. These methods were shown on line yesterday in detail. Also reports that this has been done 80 times to troop and armament trains.
