The drama around Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is escalating to new levels.
A bombshell ESPN report on Thursday morning details how Snyder and his fellow owners are moving toward a showdown that could ultimately lead to his ouster. The story alleges that Snyder has been digging up dirt on his fellow owners, including allegedly hiring private investigators through his law firms, in a brazen attempt to keep control of his scandal-scarred franchise and has enough information to “blow up” several of them.
One owner told the website that Snyder told him he “has dirt on Jerry Jones,” his one-time mentor within the league.
“He’s backed into a corner,” one veteran owner said. “He’s behaving like a mad dog cornered.”
Snyder is facing multiple controversies. There was a lengthy investigation that has made its way to Congress which exposed a toxic workplace, with Snyder directly implicated to some of the accusations. Snyder was fined $10 million and handed over day-to-day control of the franchise to his wife, Tanya.

In a nutshell, it is alleged that Snyder has been pimping the cheerleaders as his personal squad to trade favours with whomever he has wants a favour from.
It’s criminal of what is being alleged.

My BFF in the DC area had been a Redskins fan all her life. She loathes Dan Snyder and would be over the moon if he were no longer associated with the team in any way.
Wish he wanted a favor from me. Are the girls complaining or are they being well compensated and someone else is using the issue for their own benefit?
Even if they were willing prostitutes, an employer cannot legally use his power over them to make such a request.
It is criminal, no matter what is claimed.

I dunno … I always suspected that cheerleading was a side gig and free advertising for girls who make real money doing other things — legal or not.
I thought that was the Commandos.
That was a joke, but now that I thought of it Washington Commandos sounds lot better than Commanders.
My understanding is that most cheerleaders became so in hopes of marrying the football players.
He should have never shown weakness in the Redskins name issue.

I’m pretty sure NFL teams generally have an official policy forbidding cheerleaders from fraternizing with players.

No one comes to the defense of a coward. He can throw his net to see who gets caught, but he didn’t have the guts to stand up to the cancel crowd, couldn’t care less how this plays out.
