Analysis of the Nord Stream pipeline sabotage. I use Kilcullen's theory about liminal warfare and prospect theory to analyse the operational design. This shows that Russia is the most likely suspect, because all other actors would have made different operational choices.
I then give some pretty depressing perspectives on how Russia might use hybrid warfare against Europe.

Best explanation I have seen why Russian destroyed Nord Steams. That Germany also paid for. So Putin destroyed Germany’s investment too. Not that he gives a rip.

Funny how you Dems usually believe Dementia Joe apart from when he promises to commit an act of international terrorism, which he never withdrew.
Perhaps he does lay out a ‘good argument’ but counter ‘good arguments’ against Russia doing such can easily be found and provided.
Having a ‘good argument’ still does not prove conclusively that Russia blew up its own pipeline. This is the same mantra crap that was put out about Russia shelling themselves in a nuclear power plant they have control over, etc.

The US always claims Russia did it.

Dementia Joe doesn’t know how to keep his mouth shut and regularly lets the cat out of the bag.
I have no doubt that he was correct on that one. And that the democrats are in on it.
For the US: On February 28, Biden put sanctions on the owners of Nord 2. The owners filed for bankruptcy on March 1. For seven months before the explosion, the owners were in bankruptcy court and just got a extensions. Both Trump and Biden got what they wanted before the Nord lines were sabotaged. What the US does not want is damage to European energy security that could compromise support for the Ukraine.
For Germany: Nord 2 never delivered any natural gas and Nord 1 had decreasing deliveries before it stopped. Germany is getting long term contracts for natural gas with Qatar and other countries. When Russia offered gas through Nord 1, Germany refused. Germany is committed to not funding Russian wars. The winter is going to be hard on Europe, they will get through it. Europe are working to meet there energy needs, they are getting what they want.
For Russia: Gazprom is liable for billions of Euros for non delivery. As far are future European energy contracts are concerned, Nord 1 and 2 are redundant. Russia is not making any money on sales, the war cost future sales, and the investment in the lines is a waste. Russia has no political leverage over Europe. Putin is not getting what he wants and the Gazprom is liable for billions of Euros.
During the Cold War, Russia spent a lot on combat swimmers, miniature and mother submarines for espionage and sabotage. When you look at what matters to all sides, Russia has more reasons to damage is pipelines for political reasons than anyone else.
Facts or not, none of them, NONE, conclusively prove Russia blew up their own pipeline.
There is more ‘proofs and evidences’ that the US blew up/sabotaged the pipeline than there is even remotely indicating the Russians did it.
