The State of New California Takes One Step Closer to Being America’s 51st State

The state of New California took another giant step towards statehood last week.

Americans in the state of California have had enough of the corrupt anti-American actions the unconstitutional leaders of the state continue to take. These patriots are tired of policies that the leadership in the state takes to help China and the cartels while destroying the state and the country. They’ve had enough.

These multiple unconstitutional anti-American actions taken by the far-left and now communist acting leaders of the state are too much. The state cannot continue with policies of open borders, high crime, massive spending, and corrupt elections. Because of all this, the state of New California was formed.

This state takes political corruption to a new level in America.

I thought it was the leftist Counties which wanted to seceded a few years ago when Trump was in office.

I wish them luck! I don’t live there, but it’s a beautiful state run by absolute lunatics. And I don’t think those lunatics would want their money/power decreased by allowing all these people to “leave”.

I’d love to see the proposed boundaries of a new state.

I can almost imagine the old state of California would go from the Bay Area down along the coast and take him LA and then head down to San Diego.

The rest of the state (give or take a few counties here and there) is New California.

Very roughly, California east of the San Andreas fault is America. West of the fault is Bizarro-land.

There are a few counties in Oregon that want to separate from the main state and join Idaho, for near the same reasons.

And the CA state legislature is going to agree to this?

The U.S. Constitution forbids the formation of new states from parts of an existing state unless the state legislature approves. Anyone see CA legislators agreeing to this?

This is not getting out of the batters’ box, let alone to first base. The West Va happened during the Civil War where Va was either in open rebellion or a seceded state within the CSA. Depending on your POV. Thus the constitutional requirement that a newly constituted state within the borders of an existing state must be approved by that state’s legislature. The last time that happened was 202 years ago when Mass agreed to allow Maine to become a state. This was done to create a free state that allowed the Missouri Compromise. Cali will NEVER agree to New Cali. NEVER

What I would like to see is Washington and Oregon rearranged into two states that were vertically rather than horizontally separated.

That way there would be no additional senators or congress critters. The left coast state can elect Dims and the eastern inland state can elect Pubbies.

The western state can call itself Ewwtopia with a motto of "Vide Quo Ambulas" (Watch Where You Step).

The eastern state can call itself Coolidge with a motto of "Communi sensu non communismi" (Common Sense Not Communism).

Nope.

You’ll notice Upstate NY hasn’t gone anywhere, either.

If California ever splits (spoiler: it won’t) it will be into THREE or more states, not just two.

The Democrats will never allow the new part of the state to send two Republican Senators to DC and thus negate the permanent advantage their party now enjoys.

Therefore at the very least there would have to be two “Californias” to send a total of four Rat Senators and offset the two Republicans the good part of the new state would send.

The southern half of your proposed Eastern state has already signaled that it wants to become part of Greater Idaho. Maybe Washington needs to get in on it too. I wish them all the best of luck (you too “Superior”).

Many states have these sorts of splits, between their cities and other parts of the states.

Illinois would lean Republican, except for Chicago.

Michigan would do so as well, except for Detroit.

PA would as well, except for Phila and Pittsburgh.

Virginia had become more Democratic in recent years, due to growth in the Washington DC suburbs. Most of the remainder of Virginia is much more conservative.

Many states have such political differences in different regions of the state.

I agree.

It’s not red state vs blue state.

It’s our major metros vs everyone else.
