But he’s not wrong about the digital thermometers. Most of them are crap. I finally found one which worked:

I now keep 2032 batteries in my medicine cabinet next to my vape pen kit. Just measure your temperature while healthy so that you have a baseline average (it rarely gives a 98.6 reading, typically measuring an average of 1-2 deg F low...the most accurate of the many I tried in this price range).

Do you have good vitamin D levels, are you relatively slender? Such individuals seemed to have had better “in house” defenses to COVID-19 and perhaps did not need the aid of active antiviral agents.

I look at them as ‘disposable’ items since they cost about $5 in WalMart. Use for a season then throw away when the battery dies..............................

All that I tried produced different readings (when I got the virus in March 2020, I painfully discovered that the glass thermometer I’d had for >30 years was broken and finding a replacement was impossible locally).

I love digital thermometers. I never cook without mine. Since I've been using it, I have yet to screw up a beef roast, chicken or pork loin.   =;^p
