I visited Singapore in 2013 on business (They were big time subsidizing Aerospace back then). To this day, it is still the most expensive city I have ever visited.
The Taxi ride from the airport was surprisingly cheap, however. (further, but cheaper than a Taxi from DFW to my house).
Got to talking with my Taxi driver. He was about 40 and had been an electrical Engineer for Seagate, but all the Manufacturing went to Viet Nam and they closed the plants in Singapore.
These people are learning life lessens in Globalism.

I’m gonna kinda hijack a thread. Not directed at anyone in particular, just looking for opinions. I’m thinking about buying a new computer. I don’t game, but I stream a pretty good bit. Would buying a computer with a GPU be beneficial?
