A mass shooting at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia Tuesday night that left six people dead was carried out by one of the store's employees before he took his own life by turning the gun on himself, the Chesapeake Police Department says.
Chesapeake Police Chief Mark Solesky told reporters Wednesday morning that the male employee used a pistol in the attack, which also left four other people hospitalized.
Their conditions are currently unknown, and following a search by a SWAT team at the individual’s home, police believe there is "no risk to the public at this time," Solesky added.
The employee has not been identified, as police say they have yet to contact his next of kin. Prior to the shooting, officials say he was not familiar to law enforcement. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police say.

Especially since the murderer also killed himself.

Why can’t all these mass shooters who ultimately commit suicide just do that at the start?
America has become far too tolerant of the mentally ill, the perverted and all the derivative ilk.
Pretty soon they’ll start labeling conservative Christians as mentally ill. Oh wait…

this will be the shooting the shift to from Colorado, since the Colorado shooting doesn’t fit the agenda.
The guns have always been around. So what has changed? Could it be an upside down society that eschews honor and morality, and thinks men can have babies?
The west was also not as wild as today because despite hit TV shows, literacy was much higher, Christianity was a powerful force, courts dispensed justice, and there was no welfare. You worked or starved. They were hard working people. And most of the west didn’t walk around armed all the time. Miners didn’t, farmers by far most common gun was a shotgun, Laura engals wilders dad didn’t walk around strapped either. Tombstone was a thing in the news because it was not a common thing. High noon street duals in reality were literally almost unknown.
Btw we actually are far more violent than they were. Forget murder rates. Today we have EMS, emergency rooms, helicopters, radios, modern medicine, surgical techniques and antibiotics, etc. many people today live that would have died back in the 1880s. Compare rates of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and you see America today is FAR more violent.
Basically, back then we were a decent and moral country.

Well I would suggest a little more —-they both are hate filled assholes with guns.
It is strange that our country is the only one that goes to this. Yes I know other countries have an occasional one, but we have them daily sometimes more than one daily. I do believe something needs to be done. obviously taking away guns isn’t gonna do it, but something has to stop this.

Both were members of groups that have had the flames of grievance fanned into red hot coals. The one in Colorado was a Homo, the one at the Walmart was a black guy, and I would give you even money that he was a Homo also. If it wasn’t for grievance minority groups, and violet subcultures like Mexican, America would have the crime rate of Switzerland
Maybe in Gang world. But most mass shootings are young white men who went astray.
