I admit to being a little prejudiced. Albany, New York is as far West and as far South as I ever want to live.
Don't even get me going about snakes. Poisonous snakes, aggilators, to hell with all that.
aggilators? Oh my, beebers aren’t the only danger out there ready to stune people, now there are ferocious aggilators ready to strike at any moment!
“Don’t even get me going about snakes. Poisonous snakes,..”
You don’t have timber rattlers where you are? We have them in most of rural PA.
Eww. God made the world, and after he perfected his technique, he made Alberta.
I'm glad to hear there are plenty of people that like New York, that way they'll stay there. I was born in Maryland and have lived all over the country during my family and my time in the military. When I got out it I moved to be near family in Mississippi and now split my off time between the family farm in Mississippi and a condo in Florida. My current job requires constant travel, I'm in Australia right now. I've been to every state in the union and somewhere around 40 countries so I've seen a bit of the world. One of the absolute last places I ever long to see again is New York, it's right next to China and India on my list of favorite places. The concept that someone would prefer a place like that to just about anywhere in the South is so unimaginable to me that I will never be able to wrap my brain around it. Everybody's got their preferences, but anyone who actually enjoys living in any part of lower New York state is befuddling to me. Having travelled almost the entirety of the country I can say that I'd rather live almost anywhere than there.
Yankee STAY home!
