I’ve heard the original founding fathers had already realized the danger of Allowing just anyone the vote. That you had to be some sort of a property owner which back in those days basically meant you were an earner not a grifter.

Likely some exceptions probably existed like sailors etc that was unfair but now it’s tilted too far the other way where nearly anyone with a pulse can vote… and sometime not even that.

Nope.

They considered the idea but discarded it because they did not want the "rotten burrows" of the UK to be recreated in the US.

They also considered having a monarchy.

For some reason almost no one seems to want to praise that idea and say that we should "bring it back."
