I wouldn't count on it. The current trend is seeing the West send ever more powerful and advanced weapons to the fight. This demonstrates a willingness to spend even more, not less. Should this trend continue, the West will be deploying their most advanced weapons, eventually, and there's still a ways to go for that.
Even if Russia is ever able to somewhat wrest control of Ukraine from the current political leadership, then the West would want to see it as destroyed as much as possible, to make the gains for Russia small compared to the cost. So unfortunately, for everyone, especially the poor people living there, this war is nowhere near its conclusion.

Many mistakes from the Biden regime on Ukraine, but the biggest was to mostly give Ukraine 40 year old Soviet gear.
Very slowly that is changing, but if 6 months ago we had provided useful aid the Ukrainians would be marching on Volgograd now.

It’s impossible to believe what our news reports and most others coming out of the US about Ukraine as they have such a huge propaganda system interconnected with one another on all social medias and otherwise.
It’s unfortunate so many Russian news sites are prohibited as it’s all biased as a result...and further any reporting favorable to Russia is tabled. So your briefs are certainly helpful to those of us who want both sides of the story.
