Looking for different browser

I've been using Firefox for years and am now ready to switch. I'm looking for a browser that protects my identity, is reliable, and compatible with most websites. Any recommendations from our experts?

Brave is Chromium based, but has good privacy features. You may want to use VPN connections to enhance privacy.

Yes, Brave with a VPN is a solid option. I believe Proton may have a very secure system as well. Bon chance!

Yeah, firefox is increasingly unsupported by websites. When I can’t login or something I have been increasingly finding myyself able to do so using another browser.

I’m going to go against the crowd and recommend Netscape Navigator.

The most secure one I have heard of is out of Switzerland and requires a monthly payment. I cannot remember what the name of the e-mail service, but that one encrypts everything and whoever was extolling it said they had not received any SPAM.

Good luck!

It might have been Proton...only $3.33/month.

Compatibility suggests a Chromium-based browser (Google Chrome, Brave, Edge, etc.)

Privacy suggests Brave. The others are nowhere as good at privacy.

I went to Proton Mail for their security but have been unhappy with the interface between products. Emails often come in in a weird format (vertical alignment) and pdf attachments often can’t open from this platform. Other than that, I’d recommend them highly and hope they have a browser online soon.

BTW, Brave has the additional feature that (like Firefox and Google Chrome) it's cross-platform, so if you use different computers/OSes, you can use the same browser on all of them.

How about Linux operating system? Anyone?

Also, I sometimes use the 'DISSENTER' browser. Perhaps a Mozilla creation, not sure..

That's Proton mail.

Like others, I've switched from Firefox to Brave.
