My bet is Trump made them get vaccinated when they visited the White House and Silk does not want to appear to blame him.
Others have pointed to their jobs on NewsMax, a company that Steve Cortes left over their vaccine policy, which caused sort of a stir. Medical care, which she may have recently sought, can also require vaccines especially if you are admitted to a hospital, or require certain outpatient procedures.
I respect her right to privacy, that's one of the reasons I don't believe in mandates. Not nearly the main reason, but medical privacy should be respected.
However for such a public person, who often spoke against mandates, then dies suddenly, the issue is worthy of public scrutiny. And it is curious, that the answer was not quickly provided in the form of "of course she wasn't" which makes me believe she likely was. Just a guess. But the word itself was not mentioned due to Trump's presence, him paying for the arrangements, etc.
You might be on to something. Didn’t trump say he would cover all expenses?
I’d question that because of a Vanity Fair article that call out a date of Dec 13 memo from Trump that WH staff needed to ‘wait their turn’
https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2021/03/how-officials-in-trumps-white-house-scrambled-to-score-covid-vaccinations
and a CNN article that talks about Biden’s insistence all staff be vaccinated:
.”.... White House medical team was “working toward vaccinating all in-person staff over the next few week to ensure a COVID-safe working environment around the President and key leaders who have national security and continuity of government responsibilities.”

If you recall, Trump’s Rose Garden announcement of Amy Coney Barrett for Supremes was labeled a ‘superspreader’ event because vaccinations weren’t required for admission to the event
