After years of criticism over an ongoing welfare scandal, Brett Favre filed defamation lawsuits Thursday against Mississippi state auditor Shad White, Fox Sports commentator Shannon Sharpe and popular radio host Pat McAfee, according to documents acquired by Mississippi Today.

Not totally innocent, he was told by a lawyer using the funds to build a facility at SMU was legal and the State concurred with that. The State Auditor claimed despite his lawyer’s assurances he should have somehow known the funds under a specific state regulation could not be used for brick and mortar projects. Right, if so apparent why get a lawyer? He did acquire the funds to build a volleyball court because his daughter played at SMU. He knew it would look bad even though he was told it was legal. He should have taken a pass at that point, When told it was illegal he paid the money back. Should have been the end of it. On the face of it there appears to be a State Official making a name for himself and two pundits making outrageous comments to get headlines. May be more to this, who knows, honestly who cares. Biden probably wastes that much graft on Hunter’s rehab alone.
