They demoted Lemon from primetime to morning, probably telling him that they really needed to bring daytime ratings up and that he was the key to doing so. Step 2.) Allow Lemon to tank ratings in the morning, which he already did prior to Step 3.) Allow Lemon make yet another major faux pas, which was guaranteed to happen, as it did with this incident.
