A 34-year-old Chino Hills man was arrested Sunday after stealing a backpack that contained GPS enabled headphones that led deputies to his location, authorities announced.
Deputies with the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department responded to the 5400 block of Wild Sage Place at around 8:40 a.m. on reports of a vehicle burglary.
Using the GPS tracking, the victim was able to pinpoint the location of the headphones at a business parking lot on Mountain Avenue in Chino, where deputies found the 34-year-old suspect in possession of the stolen property.

In fact I find it hard to believe.
The last time I flew I had an air tag in my luggage. I was able to keep tabs on it the entire trip.
If it wasn’t worth 900 dollars then no prosecution is likely. That amount is a misdemeanor. No district attorney will touch it.
Oh damn, you just made me realize that, that’s right, 1983 is now 40. Mama mia time flys by at light speed the older I get. I graduated High school 1980, so now someone born when that happened is now 43 or old enough to be a grandparent. I think I’m gonna be sick.
Actually 1983 wasn’t a bad year for me, Ronnie was POTUS and I was working as a messenger in NYC, probably one of the greatest jobs I ever had, a hell of a different world back then long before the left coast leftists came in and destroyed it. I was renting a one bedroom apt. back then for $300 a month, today it probably goes for $5000
