The parents of this child shouldn’t allow their son to be arrested.
When I was a kid I was always puzzled how countries became tyrannys, how Germany fell under Hitler, Russia under Stalin, Cuba under Castro, it really IS because good men do nothing.
If this is the way that they’re going to roll, then it’s honorable to be in jail.
Many need speak up and to join him for the possibility of change.
Go along to get along is no longer an option.

There should be mass protests in Canada over this but there won’t be which is why it will only get worse until as history has shown us, the state decides what lives are an ‘offense’ and those lives are ended.
Yes. Rosa Parks refused to sit in the rear of a bus, even after men with guns and badges ordered her to. Unfortunately, many who call themselves conservative Republicans have checked their courage at the door.

Several years ago, a Florida judge sentenced a mother whose son had continuously skipped school, to jail. Presumably she’d then force the kid to attend school. (The issue is economic. The school gets funding based on the number of days a student attends school.) The mother was murdered by another prisoner during her first night in prison. People who have never done anything wrong and never dealt with the bad elements of society have zero clue how to survive even a day jail. For them jail is significantly more dangerous than it is for criminals who have adapted and “trained” for handling other people like themselves.
Someone else suggested that the parents shouldn’t allow an arrest. It’s called resisting arrest. That would start a cascade of even worse events for everyone involved. Getting a lawyer and spending money is the only answer at this point.

Like the dad in Loudon county VA who was arrested for speaking out at a school board meeting but went straight to the media and by fighting, helped get Glenn Youngkin elected as governor. Never give up the fight.
Canada leads the way in North American tyranny, unfortunately we seem to follow.
Anyways, I spent quite a few days in detention for my criticism of their teaching.
And yes, I dated a couple Jewish men. One became a Judge on the NYS Court of Appeals.

If a kid gets busted for saying men and women are different, its time for a change by any means.
America still has a residue of patriotic individualism left in a minority of the people. But Canada has always been a more conformist society, where it's not "polite" to resist authority.
Freedom and Communism are mutually exclusive.
