Today, riding a horse is as dangerous as riding a motorcycle, hour for hour... I disagree the chances of another horse rider crashing onto you because they are on their cell phone is pretty slim.

Ask any zookeeper and they’ll tell you: zebras might look like friendly stripey horses but in reality, they are straight up a-holes. Zebras are the hippos of Zebras.

When I worked in the Bronx Zoo as a teenager, one of the Zebras (Zeke) bit the arm of one of the zoo keepers. They are quite vicious.

I had to get rid of all my zebras when I left Brooklyn.

With all the large predators in Africa, zebras have to be vicious.
That’s a big reason why they were never domesticated.

Ever been to Circleville? They claim to be the Pumpkin capital of the World.
It is a very strange place with strange people.

I’ll be honest: This never would have occurred to me as an answer to,

“I think he tore my arm off…send a chopper,”
I might have phrased that differently.

Some in the general society has decided for us, without any consultation, that if anything has even a smidgen of “black” in it, then it is fully black.
Therefore, by their reckoning....it was a hate crime if the victim was white.....and of course Zebras are black,,, not black and white. Regardless of what the color sensors in your eyes and brain tell you.

When I was a zookeeper, one of our zebras bit off the testicles of a llama.
