I disconnected my kids long before they ever ‘connected’. Sadly, many parents prefer the free ‘babysitting’.
Best thing to do is what Rush used to do which is take a weekend off. No tv, no computer, no smartphone. Read a book, take a walk, just disconnect from electronic devices.
Of course. And they will pick our two trustworthy sources to consume. Mine is CNN and CBS.
Hey Mayo, Go tell the Rats to disconnect and tune out. That would be good for them. Just ignore politics and other stressful things like elections.

We are apparently having an Covid variant. I have had it for at least a weak. Besides the normal aches and pains, our sinususes are under attack full bore from 4/5 pm, to about noon the next day.
We sip/spit out the infected crud into a cup and flush it down.
Friends our age have been fighting this crud for over month.
We have had more rain in the last 4 weeks, So far the standard treamtment been just anti allegry drugs.

Just watch one news show….forget everything else….it is all noise…

Over a year ago I quit watching the post-Tucker lineup. Couldn’t take Hannity and Ingraham any longer. Then a few months back, much as I admire his mind, I couldn’t watch Tucker anymore.
Talk never amounts to anything and talk is all we do. Probably all we ever will do.

Sorry for the offense.
I recently completed a round of cancer surgery and follow-up at Mayo. They never asked about my COVID vaccine status at any time. They did ask if I was experiencing any symptoms as I entered.
I think people can simply not engage so deeply into news they can do nothing about yet being aware of events and happenings in a broader sense.
