BUFFALO, N.Y. — New York law enforcement won't be releasing as many mugshots from now on.
A new law requires that many mugshots be withheld from public distribution.
This comes after third party websites take and post the pictures online and then demand money if the person in the photo wants it to be taken down.
One possible exception to the rule will be when releasing the photo is important for public safety.
"Effective immediately, New York State Police will not include mugshots in press releases, and they will not be provided to media when requested. This is due to the new State Law that effectively bans the release of booking photos. NYSP will be able to release mugshots for specific law enforcement purposes only. One example would be if we were searching for a wanted or missing person, of which we have a booking photo from a previous arrest," a statement from the New York State Police said.

It won't be "released", it will be leaked. And we only need ask John roberts how difficult it is to find an obvious leaker. They'll throw up their arms and say sorry.

We know the facts. Lying about them won’t help matters.
Years ago they stopped showing mugshots on ATL television news because they were all black every night and it did not reflect well on blacks. In typical liberal fashion, rather than fix the problem they cover up the symptoms.
I wonder how many nanoseconds it will take for the president’s mugshot to be on the internet everywhere.

True reason: They don’t want social media seeing the White victim and the Black perp.
Too many criminals of color?
Cuomo passed a law, rule, edict or something that restricted the release of mugshots. My local paper used to use a picture of Cuomo when they couldn’t get the real mugshot.

Hillary violated many laws with her home server and destruction of emails (i.e. destruction of government documents). However the biggest crime is the Clinton Foundation, essentially a money laundering operation for influence peddling.
Similarly the Biden family business appears to be influence peddling. An aggressive special prosecutor forensic investigation of Biden family business dealings over decades could uncover many federal and state felonies.
Will Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis and other Republicans stand up for the republic this time?
Some people did something.
I look at them every day. Gotta keep up with my friends. One in every 200 is a pretty girl-drugs. The rest are ugly losers, either Native American or Mexicans who haven’t Americanized their names. Half of the domestic battery involve women getting arrested. Tat’s the funny part. They’re 5’2” tall and weigh 200 pounds-fire plugs. They’re lucky to have someone who can find it so why beat him up?
I asked around. It’s usually a white woman hooked up with a lonely and horny illegal. He gets tired of it and wants to move on. How’s she gonna get it now?

Mugshots won’t be released because crime disparity is so high - too many blacks.
THAT is the real reason. They don’t want to reveal the race of the criminal. Better to keep the identity hidden - and the public unsafe - than appear to be racist.
Could also be that the anchors didn't have good alibis!
